Lyft is a ride-sharing service provider connecting riders and drivers via the Lyft app. It is the second-largest ride-sharing service provider in the United States, and it offers a variety of rides via private vehicles, including traditional private rides, shared rides, and luxury ones. Lyft recently entered the Canadian market with the aim of expanding its market outside the U.S. Besides ride-sharing, the company has also entered the bike- and scooter-share market to provide multimodal transportation options to users. Incorporated in 2013, Lyft continues to innovate and expand to meet the transportation needs of its users.
